The ATP Masters 1000 Madrid, also known as the Mutua Madrid Open, is an annual men's professional tennis tournament held on outdoor clay courts in Madrid, Spain. It is part of the ATP Tour's Masters 1000 series, the highest level of professional tennis tournaments below the Grand Slams.

History

The tournament was first held in 2002 as the Madrid Masters and was originally played on hard courts. It moved to clay courts in 2009 and became part of the Masters 1000 series in 2012. The tournament has been held at the Caja Mágica venue since 2009.
